The February 2022 drowning death of 17-year-old William T. Dwyer High School student, Tiger Campbell Rollins, sent shockwaves through the Jupiter community. Following a lengthy investigation, two individuals have been arrested and charged with third-degree murder in connection with the tragic incident.
The Incident Unfolds
On February 6, 2022, around 3 a.m., Rollins, along with 17-year-old Isabella Satarik and 19-year-old Emonte Brown, allegedly stole a dark-colored Nissan from the Mallards Cove Apartments in Jupiter. Jupiter police spotted the vehicle speeding and driving erratically, initiating a pursuit. The chase ended when the stolen car crashed into a median.

According to a police report, Brown later confessed to his mother that the trio fled the scene of the crash and ran into a wooded area, eventually entering a canal. Satarik reportedly swam across successfully, followed by Brown, who struggled and received assistance from Satarik. Brown claimed to have urged Rollins to turn back, but that was the last time he saw him.
A Tragic Discovery
Rollins’ belongings, including his backpack and cell phone, were discovered on the canal bank later that evening. Tragically, the following morning, a dive team recovered Rollins’ body from the canal. He was wearing dark clothing and a makeshift poncho fashioned from a trash bag. The medical examiner ruled the cause of death as accidental drowning.

After a year-long investigation, Brown and Satarik were arrested on charges of third-degree felony murder, grand theft of a motor vehicle, and fleeing or attempting to elude. Both were given a $68,000 bond and ordered to avoid contact with each other and the Rollins family.
